DESIGN STORY

Behind the Collection

The balmy days, long sunsets and carefree nights of late summer bring us a deeper sense of ease. We love relaxing at the lakeside during this time of year, so much so that it inspired the colors and mood for our latest collection. The beauty of the twilight sky translates to a palette of various blues, and the wildflowers we find along the way are channeled as folkloric floral patterns on tops, dresses and accessories throughout. Our feelings of contentment show in the easy drapes and flowing shapes of our newest dresses and the flutter sleeves of our breezy tops. There’s a sense of wonder to it all, and we know you’ll feel it too.

Colors Inspired
by the Blue Hour

When the sun dips below a lakeside horizon, the sky turns magical shades of blue and the light feels soft and diffused. Shades of pink and purple in the sky are softly reflected in the landscape, and it creates an air of calm and contentment. Nightberry and bluestone are the foundation of this season’s palette and dusty rose and rose quartz add lightness. Meanwhile, cream and cobblestone serve as soft neutrals.

Idyllic Details

We thoroughly enjoy admiring the flowers on an afternoon stroll and stopping to pick up a few pretty stones at the water’s edge. We let that feeling guide us as we infused this collection with various floral patterns from painterly bouquets to folkloric flowers and vines. It also influenced us to create our jewelry using semiprecious stones in muted tones. They’re wonderfully smooth to the touch, so they bring that feeling of lakeside serenity to wherever you are.
